Project 2025: A Book on the High Performance Team Algorithm
If the current project guidelines remain unchanged, 2025 is set to introduce the culmination of over seven years of dedicated work to interested audiences. The book, grounded in several academic studies and countless practical experiments conducted by N. Svika within the framework of his programs, aims to reveal how High Performance Teams truly operate. Not just groups or traditional teams, but genuine HPTs—teams that "play at a different level." Currently, exclusive programs based on the HPT 15+2 algorithm are periodically offered to select organizations. If this aligns with your organization's interests, explore the available HPT programs here.
Military Leadership Instructor’s (NCO) Manual
An officially approved publication of the National Armed Forces (2025), which—despite its "unclassified" designation—is not freely available for use outside the NAF. Written in plain language, it describes the essential leadership tools required by a first-level leader, incorporating both key theoretical concepts and practical examples from daily routines as well as combat situations.
Cilvēcīga vadība (Human Leadership)
The latest book by Nauris Svika, available to readers in collaboration with "Zvaigzne ABC" since September 2023. After a long hiatus, this is a printed book in Latvian, bringing together several short stories on a wide range of management and leadership topics. Each short story is crafted with an added value—a key insight that readers can apply in their professional or, at times, even family life. While the book's primary audience is team leaders, the "Zvaigzne ABC" team highlighted an intriguing point—this is one of the few management-themed books that should also be read by individuals who are not in leadership positions. The stories in the book are intentionally designed to be as simple and concise as possible, aiming to engage even those who don’t usually read books. The book is available for purchase at "Zvaigzne ABC" stores.
DeMa
Unapologetically simple and surprisingly effective HR Gamification E-Tool. DeMa is an innovative e-tool that creates real-life leadership scenarios, designed for effortless leadership skill development and evaluation, both in-person and remotely. It assigns participants specific roles, generates situations (over 1,000 scenarios related to teams, clients, and partners), and escalates challenges requiring participants to listen to advice, make decisions, and analyze or evaluate the overall process. The experience is engaging, exciting, and infused with humor. DeMa has been a regular feature in leadership programs, and we also offer the tool for organizations to use independently. Created in 2022, DeMa continues to deliver impactful and enjoyable leadership development experiences.
E-books
Practical tools in English for team building providers. These books offer a variety of team-building exercises and activities designed for individuals who regularly incorporate elements of team cohesion and development into their work. The exercises have received positive feedback for their application in corporate programs as well as in educational settings with college and university students in the United States, Canada, Australia, India, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The books were published between 2014 and 2016 and continue to serve as valuable resources for fostering teamwork and collaboration. Some of them still available on Amazon.
PATS! (MYSELF!)
N. Svika's debut book, inspired by the 2009 economic crisis, emerged at a time when, despite the end of the financial downturn, complaints about life's difficulties and reluctance to take action still prevailed. The book serves as a step-by-step guide to achieving personal goals. It doesn’t coddle the reader but instead encourages proactive behavior. Direct, candid, and practical, this book is a powerful motivator for those ready to take charge of their lives. While the last printed copy left store shelves some time ago, the book can still be found in select libraries.
